I have an original first generation Urban Carry medium size holster. This holster was for a Ruger LCP. It is well worn in and comfortable. I was drawn to the design because I don't care for typical I.W.B. holsters, I have skinny hips. Urban Carry holsters when worn correctly with small firearms conceal very well and are comfortable. The new G-3 Trooper is different from my old G-1 and at first I was skeptical of the new design. The more I wear it the more I like it. I wear it with a S&W Bodyguard 2.0. It is still breaking in but already is comfortable. I gave it 4 stars because of the leather "paddle" behind the clip. It is thick and a little bulky. I do think it too will break in more as I wear it. I didn't think I would like the clip vs. the loops for the belt the old style had but it is quick to drop in place and easy to take the holster off without undoing your belt, and of course you could use it without a belt if needed. I am still not a fan of the retention device for the trigger guard, but it works. Like anything else, it takes time to get used to anything new and different but if you want a holster that truly conceals in pretty much any situation regardless of what you wear, this is it.
I ordered the slightly used G3 in brown to match with my belt. If it is used I can't tell it. I only had to wear it for a day and it is very comfortable. I have already talked to a friend about ordering one for themselves.
I got a great deal on this holster as a gently used product. There was no evidence of misuse, just minor wear which had added benefit of beginning the leather break in process. I'd been searching for solutions for BG 380, and thought I'd give this a try. Once it arrived the 380 fit perfectly and seated properly in the retention device. The smaller size of this Trooper version allows a comfortable and concealable carry option. I have a larger version for a HK45C and frankly it's just too big and bulky for comfort/concealment. I have since gone to IWB holsters (including Urban Carry which I like very much) as preferred solution for my larger frame handguns.
The Trooper G3 for my Bodyguard 2. 0 is perfect sometimes I don't realize I'm carring. The G3 for a micro gun works. I have not seen any imprint and you have full mobility.
