So shoot my weapon perfectly. It is a bit on the tight side at first, however, all other holsters do require an extended break-in. Yes, you can begin by wrapping the weapon in a plastic bag and starting it into the holster and light to sit overnight, however, that only begins the process of breaking it in. All other products, especially those thick as they whole. He is requires some work to get properly broken in. In the case of these holsters, patients is not only a virtue but a necessity. Use a good high-quality conditioner and a lot of patience and you’ll achieve a very good fitting holster. Like a good pair of boots you have to wear them a while to get them broken in. The same as post true with the holster you have to wear it on your belt with a weapon in it to help get the properly stretched and loosened up. Regular treatment with a quality conditioner also helped the process as well as ensure the health of the leather. Take your time and don’t expect it to be a quick draw out of the box, it will not. Be patient with conditioner where it get it properly stretched informed to your carry position and you’ll be extremely happy. Once you get it properly broken in then you can begin working on getting the perfect cat, only wanting to devise found within the holster. Again patience is the key with leather holsters. This includes ensuring the weapon is clear as if you were going to do dry fire, practice, and repeatedly inserting and removing the weapon from the holster with it…

This is my second holster that I have purchased from Urban Carry and it is a great holster. Even carrying around a Ruger 57 with an almost 5” barrel it does well at concealing it to your hip and makes it feel like it’s not even there. Would highly recommend to anyone for any size sidearm.
