Whether you’re worried about the ever-impending Zombie Apocalypse, or you’re simply a firearms enthusiast, it’s always good for trivia night to know the top seven firearms producing countries.
With some diligent research on behalf of our R&D team, we’ve put together a list of the highest rated gun countries. The countries were rated based on both their production and their craftsmanship (quality over quantity - but quality quantity wins;).
The earliest forms of firearms were quite literally that - bamboo tubes filled with blackpowder that blasted various projectiles at oncoming attackers. China is credited with the invention of both gunpowder and the beginnings of the gun as we know it, sometime in the 9th century.

Guns remained a mystery in Europe until the early 13th century, when they began coming back with travelers and merchants from Asia. The modern firearm began to take shape, and the design, craftsmanship and functionality of firearms has continued to rise ever since.
With the pleasantries and mild history out of the way, let’s jump right in to the top seven countries producing the best firearms! Side note: Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes makes a fantastic sing-along to this list. Press play and read on!
7. Israel
The most famous Israeli gun of all time is UZI, finest one that was ever made in Israel. If you ever watched any action movie, the chances are that you have seen Uzi in action, since they are pretty much reserved for the bad guys.
Your Uzi is dirty from eating all that ammo. Clean it up on the Urban Carry Gun Mat.
Israel is also the 7th largest weapon exporter in the world, exporting more than $1 billion worth of weapons every year. Israel Military Industries stands as Israeli’s biggest manufacturer.
Without a doubt, the most notorious piece of Russian craftsmanship in the world of guns is the AK-47. The “Automat Kalashnikov 1947” remains the most popular and widely used assault rifles in the world.
Other famous Russian guns are the TT-30, Dragunov sniper rifle and KSVK. Russia is the second largest weapon exporter in the world and the biggest gun manufacturer in Russia is Izhmash.
Belgium-made guns gained popularity only in the recent decades due to the extraordinary craftsmanship of FN Herstal, Belgium’s largest weapon manufacturer.
Although it makes fine handguns like FN Five-seveN, Belgium relies on the assault rifle production, and models like FN F2000 and FN SCAR made the country one of the 7 countries that make the best guns in the world.
4. Italy
All of you out there even remotely familiar with guns had only one name attached to Italy, Beretta. Beretta’s M9 handgun is one of the most recognized handguns in the world, used by civilians, police forces and military.
