Glock 19 Concealed Carry Holster

Glock 19Glock was founded by Gaston Glock in 1963. Glock caught it’s big break in 1983 when it won a contract to provide 25,000 pistols to the Austrian army. At the time of winning the contract Glock had never manufactured a pistol in its short history. This would end up being a risk worth taking, as this venture was met with incredible success. Since this time Glock has gained a reputation for reliability and simplicity. Glock has opened subsidiaries in US, Hong Kong and Uruguay. From 1983-2000 Glock has sold over 2.5 million guns to the military and law enforcement agencies around the world.

The cartridge was introduced with the Luger semi-automatic pistol. This style of cartridge was first adopted by the German Navy 1904. The German Army adopted this cartridge in 1908. Since this time this cartridge has been adopted by every non-Communist power. It has become the most used cartridge in the world.

Now lets talk about the Glock 19. The Glock 19 is one of Glock’s most popular firearms that they produce. In 1988 Glock started manufacturing the Glock 1988 and is still in production to this day. This firearm is a single-action, 15 round, polymer frame with integrated polymer grips. The Glock 19 shoots 9 mm ammunition with a recoil operated action. You can purchase a Glock 19 brand new for just under $600.00.

We tested the Glock 19 over at Urban Carry Holsters. The Glock 19 will use a large sized holster, this should keep the firearm comfortably below your waistline yet still accessible in emergency situations. If you normally wear a tighter more form fitting pair of pants we recommend using a small sized holster to accommodate the tighter fit. Firearms Expert, Urban Carry Holsters

I've been with Urban Carry Holsters since 2020, proudly serving as the Firearms Expert. Before that, I served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, including a deployment to Iraq from 2009 to 2010. During my time in the Infantry as a Sergeant, I developed a deep interest in the wide range of firearms we used. It fascinated me to learn why specific weapons were chosen for different missions and roles.Breaking into the firearms industry wasn't easy, but persistence paid off. While attending a trade show, I discovered the Sonoran Desert Institute. That opportunity led me to earn an Associate of Science in Firearms Technology, along with certifications as a Pistol Expert and Range Safety Officer. My passion for firearms continues to grow every day. I'm always learning, always improving, and always striving to bring that knowledge and experience to the work we do here at Urban Carry.
