I bought this for my Wilson Combat SFX9. The holster is quality made, however the firearm sits too low in the holster to wear comfortably and get a good grip before drawing. Half of the gun’s grip is below the belt line.

Previously I reviewed the Signature IWB 218 for the Walther PDP Compact 4". This review will read the same because both of my purchased holsters suffer from the same failings. Now on to the review.
First things, the leather is of superb quality, as is the construction. Unfortunately that's all the praise I have for this holster.
I purchased two lock leather holsters, one for a Walther PDP Compact 4" and another for a Smith & Wesson SD9 2. 0. I have been using them since June 18, 2025, and for the same reasons neither has made the grade.
The first problem I have is with how hard this holster is. Somehow this leather holster is harder and more painful to wear in a crossdraw configuration than my Kydex We The People Holster.
The second problem is the clip. The clip itself has two problems, first it is really tight. I mean really, really tight. Clipping it over a standard gun belt is a struggle. Heck just clipping it over the waist band of a pair of pants or jeans is difficult, not to mention uncomfortable.
The other problem with the clip is that it is not adjustable. I'll address this problem further in the next section.
The most important problem with the lock leather holster is that the holster sits very low in my pants. It is extremely difficulty to access the firearm because the grip sits right at the waist line. This problem is magnified by the inability to move the holster clip. An adjustable clip would probably go a long way towards alleviating the discomfort and…

This holster is a nice design with very easy adjustments for the tension system. I usually only use kydex holsters but decided to give this one a try. I like it! The tension is easy to adjust, and the clip is made of metal! My only complaint is how bulky the holster is, but I have never seen a leather holster that works well that is thin. I would definitely recommend this holster to anyone.
