S&W Bodyguard .380 Concealed Carry Holster

Bodyguard 380Smith and Wesson because in 1852 when Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson started a gun partnership in Connecticut. Back in 1857 they manufactured the first metallic cartridge breech-loading revolver. In 1880 for the first time ever a double-action revolver was made.  Wesson family control and several conglomerates gained full control over it. From 1987 to 2001 Tomkins PLC, a British company purchased Smith & Wesson. In 2000 S&W signed an agreement with the Clinton Administration in order to not have a lawsuit filed against them This was not popular amongst the fun owning public with nearly ruined the company. Saf-T-Hammer Corporation purchased Smith and Wesson Corp from Tomkins PLC for a small percentage of what Tomkins originally paid. 

The cartridge for the Bodyguard 380 was originally designed by John Browning and introduced to the world by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium. This is one of the most popular cartridges in the world amongst gun owners. One of the main reasons for the cartridges success is it can easily by adapted to fit small automatic pocket pistols.

Smith and Wesson started producing 2010 and is still in production to this day.  This new series of handguns consists of a revolver and a semi-automatic model. The Bodyguard is known for its lightweight polymer frame with factory integrated laser optics. Both the recoiled and the semi-automatic model were designed in conjunction with Insight Technology. The semi-automatic pistol is chambered for the .380 Special +P. This firearm sell brand new for just under $450.00.
